Chapter 1: Why G Chat?

Viyaan works as Sr Product Manager in an engineering manufacturing company since couple of years in Bangalore.

One fine day, while, Viyaan was working, he heard some gossips about something. So, he was eager to know what it was all about.

Sandhya said, have you heard about this dating app messenger called G Chat.com?

Vikas, Hrishi, Sneha and Naveen were all discussing about this app going viral.

Viyaan, said yeah! Why, we need another one? When we have WhatsApp why do we need other apps.

Arre, it is a dating app Viyaan, Sneha said. Currently windows version and soon android and IOS mobile apps are also available.

Hmm, I am hearing since couple of days.

Lots of them are getting registered in that. Soon, hears a message sound on his phone. He opened the message and saw an invitation pertaining to G Chat and this was referred by Sneha.

In the evening before leaving office, he goes to Sneha’s desk and thanks her for the invitation.

In the evening, while exercising he saw Suma walking towards him.

Suma is Viyaan younger sister.

Hey ... Whets up?

Yes, Suma! How is your day dear?

Very bad traffic

Suma starts about talking about this app and all her friends are part of this group. She reminds him to register to it.

Common Suma, who will join it and not interested to join and spend time on it.

Hey, just think you might find someone who thinks like you and could be adaptable and suitable as per your needs and wants, smilingly.

Yeah, while exercising he thought for a second and stopped and slept on the floor mat. His hand started to search for his mobile and found it.

He clicks on the message invitation send by Sneha earlier.

He just follows the steps mentioned and finally registers in the app. Clicks on the search friends and he sees lots of names.

He pings Sneha and asks her under what name is she in G Chat.

It is Sneha0583.

He searches the name and adds Sneha (Sneha0583) to his friends list ad keeps on scrolling and checks some names in the list.

He selects couple and sends them invitation and then closes the app and keeps the phone for charging.

Suma, I am off for shower.

Ok!

In the evening, he hears some sound and looks at his phone.

Looks like some notifications.

Hmm ... only 1 accepted it. Nice Aadya...

Starts messaging her

Viyaan: Hi Aadya. Thank you for connecting with me. How are you? Hope you are doing good.?

He waits for few seconds and keeps the phone down.

Ting

Aadya: Hi Viyaan. I am good, thank you for asking me. How old are you, Viyaan?

Viyaan: I am 24 and you?

Aadya: I am 32

Viyaan: Ohh you are 8 years elder to me Aadya ji? Then why are you chatting with me?

Aadya: No ji ... just call me as Aadya. I do not know; I feel there is some connection between us. The moment I saw your name; I felt to add you and start the conversation.

Viyaan: Sure, Aadya.

Aadya: So, what do you do Viyaan?

Viyaan: I work as Asst Product manager for a manufacturing company. And what about you?

Aadya: I am Sr Manager in an IT company.

Viyaan: Ohh, nice? Are you married?

Aadya: No, Viyaan and you?

Viyaan: No, you have any BF?

Aadya: No, I do not want to fall into any kind of commitments right now?

Viyaan: I am obliged and thank you for connecting with me.

Viyaan: What is your stats?

Aadya: I am 34 32 24 and wears 34 b

Viyaan: Wow ... that’s nice.
